The fullback is dead. The fullback is dead..: Well someone forgot to tell the best teams in the NFL the full back is dead. The top 5 NFL teams use a Full back. Note that NE currently isn’t using one cause Develine is on IR but he’s won 3 Super Bowls with them and NE running game isn’t as good as it usually is this year and I think a lot of that has to do with James D is hurt.

Before Juszcyk was injured in SF, he may have been the undefeated Niners MVP. He’s back tomorrow... having a FB is an instant boost to a RB, and if you gave a kid like W Robinson a road dog to lead the way, it can change so much. It’s the one spot on offense that frost could fix and not that difficult

You do realize that Frost has been lining up or motioning a TE in to the backfield to act like a fullback right? He just does it in a different way than we used to. The idea is the same. His philosophy is different but whether you call them a TE, H-Back or fullback isn't that big of a deal. The difference comes in when a team is ABLE to line up with that lead blocker and impose their will on another team down after down. That works best IF you have a good O line to go with it.

Yeah, I see the H-back used a little. Not a whole lot. But maybe I’m wrong. However H-back and a fullback aren’t exactly the same thing. Using your logic I’m going to say a Guard and a Tackle are the same thing basically

Nebraska fans and players are going to be reminded about the effectiveness of having a fullback play after play after play as they watch Jonathan Taylor run wild this Saturday. :(

Maybe Scott Frost will get the message. Not having a full back is just stupid especially at a school like Nebraska.
