It's bad enough that they lost their starting QB. But it's just morally wrong to punish them because their starting QB got injured. Again, the 2014 NC Ohio St won after their top 2 got injured. FSU is a much more complete team then people give them credit for. Their defense was lights out yesterday.

Wouldn’t have mattered if it was him healthy or an $EC team in the playoff. Be honest with yourself about it. No way the committee doesn’t get pushed into that decision when they couldn’t put two $EC teams in with the wins by Michigan Washington and Texas.
It's okay, there will be plenty who will piss and moan about it and then turn around and gift them their highest views of the year. Because as herded cattle we're nothing if not cucktastically consistent.
Meanwhile, the hand wringing must intensify to signal just how independent thinking and not simpy we all are.
Get rid of the stupid bowl games and go to a real playoff then the results on the field would matter.

It turned out just the way I thought it would with Texas 3 and Bama 4. Hard to be sympathetic with Florida State the way they benefited from the terrible officiating in the 1993 national championship game against Nebraska. Bobby Bowden even said in a letter to Osborne you beat us every way except in the final score.
College football below the top division of college football all use a playoff system. I have never understood why the top division hasn’t ever had a true playoff.
Shouldn't matter. If we are going by talent on teams just shut it down and let the recruiting rankings dictate who wins.

Not a thing except for some poetic justice for Husker fans who had to suffer another bitter pill since the 71 champs. In hindsight it gave Nebraska the added motivation to win 3 of the next 4 national championships.
No one will care when deciding between 12 and 13. The media will have to hype it up for ratings for the selection show, but no one else will care, other than the social media crazies. I can't tell you who the 12th and 13th ranked teams are. Louisville is 14th and they would certainly have no reason to complain.
Alabama. I remember the Iron Bowl. It literally happened a week ago. Bama looked like a poverty program. They struggled all year to put teams away and then they needed a miracle to beat a ****** Auburn team.
The right answer to this is nobody knows who the best 4 teams are. But you don't deny an undefeated p5 conference champ an opportunity when they took care of ******* business because of an injury because you're worried about a supposed match-up or being worried about ratings. I can't wait for the 12 team playoff. Where teams actually have a chance to win it all even if they are not 1/2 at the end of the regular season. It is going to be awesome.
I would like to know how much money did some of the committee members get under the table, the excuse that fsu quarterback was hurt was a piss poor made up excuse or more like let’s make up the rules as we move along. just wait till the sec team loses a top quarterback and they’ll get in the Committee will just make up another excuse of why they get in
