I heard they thought Bunch could win and they could save AM for MichiganAre you an Athletic trainer at UNL? If his leg was ready to play he would have played.
AM would have had trouble avoiding the same pressure that Bunch dealt with. A gimpy knee will get you hurt even worse with an athletic team coming after you.
They would have brought even more pressure knowing he was hurt. Nebraska would have been better suited to run up the middle a bit more, many times during the game they had success. Last weeks game took a lot out of Nebraska, and you could see it all game long. And the mistakes made on both sides cost them today, not all of it is on Bunch. Looking at the stats, they look like Nebraska could have won, and only one more turnover than Troy, but it was costly.I disagree. We’d have at least had a passing game. It’s not like Bunch was ever mobile or tried to be mobile. 4.5 speed but failed to ever show us anything of an athletic ability
If he could have played, he would have. I highly foubt Frost would take a chance losing to Troy if he could avoid it.
One leg or two legs doesn’t matter. Game would have been different with AM. This ones on SF
My goodness people are just desperate to find someone to blame this on. Risk and even worse injury to Martinez right before B1G play? Not on your life. If Martinez is still injured he should ride pine. And he did.
I agree I think a running quarterback would definitely open up the run game a lot more. Our offensive line looked good when we had another running threat in the backfield, but looked terrible when we didn't have that extra threat. It's not like Bunch is much of a threat passing or making good decisions. Might as well find someone who can run.I would like to see them get Cam lots more reps. My suspicion is for this thing to really work like it is supposed to, we need an athlete back there at QB, and it is clear that we don't have any depth behind Martinez.
