"Scott Frost would like you to stop thinking he’s close to agreeing to terms to be Nebraska’s next coach.
Friday, a writer from Bleacher Report with Nebraska ties tweeted that Frost was close to agreeing to terms on a 7-year $35 million contract to be the next coach of the Huskers. Mind you, Nebraska currently has a coach in Mike Riley.
To hire Frost, Nebraska would have to fire Riley. Which isn’t farfetched. But still, it has to happen.
Anyway, Frost was asked about the Nebraska report Saturday after his team’s win over Temple.
“That’s just totally false,” Frost said. “I haven’t paid attention to all these whirlwind rumors and everything and I’m not going to. I’ve got an unbelievable team and I’m going to coach them. I can promise you that no decision has been made about anything.”'
