What do you all take from this presser today? Frost is usually a little standoffish, but man he seems like he is being a complete arse today. It is really starting to feel like an "us against the world" mentality. Which I don't think is a sustainable mindset.

For some reason this PC makes me less comfortable with the game this weekend.

Maybe he finally got a PR guy to tell him to keep it short so you don't put your foot in your mouth again

Who cares? They're there to get sound bites and he gave them that.

Get a freaking grip! Typical small penis Nebraska fan. Always offended by something.

I am just saying he seems different. If it works, great. But it comes off like he is really uptight. And that isn't really the most inspiring. The last thing the teams needs to be doing is playing uptight.

Not really taking issue with it. But more seeing him different at a presser than he has been. And wondering how that may impact the team's mindset.

Of course if he wins I won't give a crap and he can be like that all he wants.

I'm okay with it. What is there to say? Time to win and all the talking in the world makes zero difference. Love the mentality. Also, I wonder if Frost has his nose out of joint about any of the coverage of the NCAA issue? I didn't read any of it but I wonder. Could explain his unwillingness to play the game with the media today.

Great point. No matter what, people will *****.
Not bitching, but certainly see this PC different from others. And trying to figure out why.

Do you not see it as different? Could be good or bad. I guess we will see.

I think a few people are taking this thread a little to personal....I really don't care how he acts at a presser, but I thought he was a little rude at a few points, whatevs. Fact is if we **** the bed against Illinois and look bad doing it nobody will remember this presser or care at all. Just win baby....channel your inner Saban or Belichick, or whatever works for you...just win.

We need to stop worrying about his pressers and what he actually puts out on the field. At this point I could give a **** what he says. Time to win games. I'm also tired of hearing all of the Covid questions, and I bet he feels the same no matter his political view on it. I'm glad he just let the kids talk and got out of there. Time win, not talk. Scott has done a lot of talking and it backfired.

The picture the OWH used on Twitter with their story was bush league.

They need to throw away whatever that was recorded on. Also what and who asked the question he was obviously pissed off about at about the 3 and a half minute mark?

I think the sight of sam mckewon makes him sick to his stomach, and when he asks his ******** slanted questions, it just sets the tone for the rest of the presser. That guy is a total douche.

Pretty sure he is upset about the NCAA thing, and it seemed like Alberts cut him off quickly last Wed at that press meeting. He acted like he was pouting a little when Trev wouldn't let him answer questions.

Seriously. Be vanilla as can be, but come out and win on Saturday. Then you can smile a bit and yuck it up. TO was the master of understatement. How'd that work out? I don't need him to win the press conference. Just be humbly confident in your team.

That is accurate. Guy tries way to hard to be provocative. Just do your job Sam.

What's interesting to me, is how he is treating the press. It's highly aggressive, and toward everyone. I must have missed what has happened in the press since Trev walked him out there last week, but you get the feeling something has happened and now he's treating them like enemies.

Personally, I don't believe a word Scott Frost says.

He was given easy layup questions about the depth chart, blackshirts and such, and .. .. you know what this vid feels like? ..it feels like watching a coach who just had his **** pushed in moments before it was made.

I agree with this.

Someone else said it and maybe it's true that he is pissed at the press overall for "leaking" the investigation.

Either way his entire demeanor was different.

What a bizarre thing to say. Honestly not even sure what that would look like, I guess we will have to take your word for it.

What do you want him to do, pull your hair and slap your *** and whisper in your ear that today was the best practice he’s ever seen?

The problem with doing this, is those guys have to now go write a story based on this.

Scott might think, "Le't s make their job a little harder", but the reality is, they can just rip into him in retaliation.

At least when this went down like this with Bo, you could laugh, heck even Bo sometimes would laugh, since he had a good sense of humor. Scott is wound up super tight. You could try to make fun of him, but for some reason, it isn't funny like it was with Bo.

it would look exactly like the post-michigan(2018), purdue(2018), wisconsin(2018), ohiost(2019) minn(2019), wisc(2019), ohiost(2020), and illinois(2020) pressers did.

you know, right after having his sh*t pushed in.

For the most part, I like this from him. There was a question about things not making to his desk at the 2:00 mark and he didn't take the bait. Weather he is learning the media is not his ally and don't give them anything or it is Trev's influence, it is a good thing.
