I have heard that it was his other foot that he broke this time. I just hope that he doesn’t have chronic foot issues due to weigh that he has put on.

Lower leg probs back to high school.

I wasn't trying to be funny there. The OP said that Frost said Farniok was going to get first crack at C. Then the very next post said, did Frost say anything about Farniok.

It was a compliment. Sorry if it came out wrong. Thought you jokin about the crack part. No worries.

Every position is important of course but a whole lot can go wrong right away if you don't get adequate performance at your Center position. Lack of experience is/should be a big concern. You have to hope that the inevitable mistakes and any deficiencies get mostly corrected before B10 play.

Exactly. I think we have seen in the past what happens when you have subpar play at the center position. I can think of two instances recently where a change was made at the center position that infused life into the OL after the change was made. Michael Decker in 2014ish(?) and Tanner Farmer last year. There may be others, but I those are the two that stick out.

seems like quite a gamble to recruit a guy that was a huge academic risk to shore up a position in desperate need of talent and depth ... it appears that Bland wasn't the only one who didn't do their homework
Agreed. Swing and miss.
