He shouldn't have been drinking at all. Absolute childish behavior. 1 of the biggest commits in Nebraska history and you cant refrain from drinking? And obviously it wasnt just 1 drink.. 3, 4, 5 drinks? Wtf? I wonder if he had been drinking when he went to visit Adrian Martinez's mom. Remember that? Helping her with the dishes. GTFOH. He blew it and there is only 1 person to blame and that is Scott Frost. #nevercomeback
Wasn't Adrians Mom dead? I thought I remembered that being a big story? Maybe I have the wrong guy.

Like I wrote, I think Dom Raiola may have been at the golf course with him, which is why Peter stated that Dom was partially at fault.

Where is this claim?
I'm seeing second hand accounts from people who were at the AZ golfing event. That instead of being too hammered at the course, he met his wife for dinner and stayed "too late" and wanted to do it via Zoom. I swear I saw quotes where this was Frost's explanation. I guess those of us who assumed the booze were wondering why a head coach would risk bungling the recruitment of a 5* QB and figured he must have not been thinking clearly.

I see...the information came from hold Harry Hearsay.

I wondering whether he thought Raiola wouldn't really be a fit for what he wanted to do with the QB in his offense, and so while others were interested, he really wasn't and was just going through the motions. Either Dylan was a kid he really didn't want or Frost really suffered from a lack of discipline (or both).

You didn’t know!!!??? Frost got hammered while doing the dishes and drown her in the bubbles and told Adrian his dad was next if he didn’t commit.

Ha!

There is a big FU to all the dorks. Just like I have said over and over, so many fans just made **** up about Frost.
Three things:

1) Apparently random message boards that were spreading rumors broke Frost.

2) Why are people coming out *now* saying none of the Frost rumors were true? I've seen more "No way those Frost rumors were true" statements now then I ever did back in 2021 & 2022.

3) Is it possible that Frost did booze it up a bit too much and he liked to flirt with other women, but those vices were embellished on the internet? Again, while true, they weren't as bad as it was made out to be (i.e., not photo worthy).

And ALL OF US have said "I don't want to be here today" when it comes to our job (Except maybe male porn stars)
Probably true, but we also weren't making $5M a year. For $5M a year, people can say whatever rumors they want about me.

You do a great job flipping the conversation around and purposely avoid the point.

You didn't acknowledge my 2nd and 3rd points.

My $5M comment wasn't about whether the Frost rumors were true or not. I was pointing out that your comparison of Frost complaining about his job vs normal folks, wasn't a good one.

- No, but it was clearly annoying enough to the Athletic Department that they made him or asked him to walk out on the field with his wife and kids to show that they were "happy", that is weird.

2) Why are people coming out *now* saying none of the Frost rumors were true? I've seen more "No way those Frost rumors were true" statements now then I ever did back in 2021 & 2022.

- Because 3-4 years ago Frost was here and losing tons of games so fans hated him.

3) Is it possible that Frost did booze it up a bit too much and he liked to flirt with other women, but those vices were embellished on the internet? Again, while true, they weren't as bad as it was made out to be (i.e., not photo worthy).

- Sure it is possible!

I feel like I would feel the same exact way.

Now...if you were married (hopefully you are not) and your wife is reading/hearing non-stop about how you are a cheater and drunk and she is now always wondering where you are when you are not home by a certain time, well that could be a pain in the *** to deal with.

Probably closest to the truth. Additionally, he was a G5 level HC coach who was talked into a bigger job that, at least from his recent comments, he never really committed to. And it showed.

My guess. Frost is just like most of us. Has some beers, pretends to be happy in his home life. Does his job but doesn't totally love it 24/7.

I get it "the money" and all that stuff. But all those guys make great money and most coaches get fired. So most of them are not doing anything amazing in terms of their work.

When your wife rocks a career at Casey’s you don’t have to “pretend” to love your home life.

Is this actually true or just rumor? Frost just didn't decide to do this on his own?

So guys like Sean Callahan and Jason Peter didn't say anything to squash the rumors because fans didn't like Frost as a coach? Even at the first hint of a rumor, they didn't stick up for him? Seems unlikely, but if so, total puss move (I would never say that to Jason though)...

It is a rumor BUT Frost is insanely private about his family so much so that he even told the reporters not to ask questions about his family...then a few years later and 1000 stories about him banging college girls in public at Gate 25, and next thing you know he walks out hand in hand with his family.

As far as not squashing things, I think more of those media guys try to NOT lend credibility to stupid message board rumors, if they did, that is all they would talk about 24/7, especially when it is personal in nature. So you sort of have to wait until the person is gone.

Plus, would Callahan, who people love to rip on, really have changed anything by saying something? He came out now and said something and people still don't care.

But again, one of the two big rumors

1. Totally drunk all the time at Gate 25 banging girls. Yet not one picture ever of him at Gate 25. People would take pictures.

2. Vandalizing a golf course with the police almost being called and then being kicked off the course. And not one picture.

I take 5-6 pictures while golfing of my friends doing stupid things and usually a few of them pissing the bushes. And they are nobodies.

It's hard to have a conversation with you on this stuff because you exaggerate so much. Again, Frost could have been a drunk and womanized, but it's wasn't so ostentatious about it.

It could be as simple as him drinking with one other buddy in his office instead of getting work done. He doesn't have to be getting black out drunk for the drinking to be affecting his job.

Agree to disagree. If you see false rumors, especially if you're in someone like Sean or Jason's position, you say something to defend your pal.

This is not me exaggertaing though, this is what was said!

He was kicked off/thrown out of a golf course in Lincoln for being hammered and tearing up the course (With Davison?) and he was so hammered he was supposed to meet with kids but they had to stop him from meeting with them.

And that he had a secret hidden apt at Gate 25 where he ******.

How about we say it was all hidden, how would people know???

They gain nothing by saying it now, so it is safe to assume what they are saying is true.

Honestly NOT saying anything about it in the past drives more traffic to their message board. Nasty rumors about a failing coach make for great posts.

Based on your reasoning as to why they didn't say anything in the past could be used as to why they're talking about it now.

It has nothing to do with the truth. It has to do with driving more traffic to their message board.

Hmmm

And UCF would not REHIRE a huge drunk, cheating golf course abuser. That makes no sense.

Whatever with all the rumors.

Frost left UCF of his own free will. He wanted to move up and cash in. Whatever he says now doesn’t change that.

It came down to us or Florida. His Gainesville interview didn’t go well. The Gators didn’t want to hire his UCF asst. coaches. With 20/20 hindsight, Florida was right.

He had everything in Lincoln necessary to at least put a competitive team on the field. To be consistently better than .500 or better. Here, however, he did not have a generational QB that fit his system to a T. AMart had his strengths and weaknesses. And Frost completely failed to capitalize on his strengths, while minimizing his weaknesses.

He failed to see the problems, and to correct them. He was given plenty of time and resources to do so.

He failed. [Period/full stop]

I’m happy to move on and wish him the best back at UCF. But his utterly ridiculous refusal to accept responsibility for his abject failure in Lincoln strains the goodwill.
