Very intriguing matchup as 10-1 Freedom will take on 8-3 Sun Valley. Sun Valley is no slouch just like Freedom is. One of those games I like to be at. Any thoughts on this one.

I think Sun Valley is probably the best 6A team in the state. I’m heartened by the way we played defense Friday night, got to bring that same effort this week.
I watched Sun Valley play early in the seasom when they played Lake Norman and Mooresville. They lost to LN 20-16 and had Mooresville down in 1st half until Mooresville starting RB returned the 2nd half and exploded on them. Sun Valley shut out Charlotte Catholic. Freedom however has explosive offense. This could get interesting.
its alot of good teams in 6a in the west and east 6a will be one the best this year
Hard to say who im pulling for simply because beating the same team twice isnt easy. But, I'll always pull for a conference team as long as they're not playing Watauga.

Sun Valley comes back with a quick drive for a TD, but the kick was no good. 7-6, 10:37 first quarter.
Man we left with 9 min left in 3rd quarter. The way they smothered Central Cab last week and didn’t lose to Watauaga by a whole lot I thought for sure they’d make this a game. Do realize that SV lost to really really good teams. Last time I seen them in action they came up to South Caldwell back in 2012 or 2011 and showed out. Zac Pollard kept them in the game for a bit but it wasn’t enough. I think this team was better than that 2012 team.
