At least Fran shook up the defense.Even if it was junk defense, he went to a zone when they were getting beat on the drive on too much.Ben just relies on his players that are outsized and out athletic to play man to man all game

Well, Fran was a defensive savant. You can't expect other "normal" humans to be able replicate his level of genius on defense.

I know you are anti NIL so I can't say join Swarm. I would suggest it might be time to find a new team to root for. For football I suggest:
Ohio State
Michigan
Georgia
Bama

For hoops maybe try these:
Duke
Kansas
UCONN
Kentucky

Maybe you more interested in wrestling:
Penn State
Okie State
