I wonder if memories of Frankie London coming in and leading a TD drive against UCF in 1997 doesn't still affect Frost and his unwillingness to pull the starter. The last thing he wants is to have Smothers or Haarberg step in and show up AM.

Is Frankie coaching anywhere? Put him in for a year can't be any worse than this.

I think that incident still angers Frost. When it shouldn't. The team was listless against UCF. Osborne put in London, as he claims was his plan all along to get the backup some live game experience. London marches right down the field for a touchdown. Easy as we thought it would be.

I was in the student section. The whole next UCF possession we chanted "Frankie, Frankie." We all wanted to see what London could do with another chance. Instead, Osborne put Frost right back out. He admitted he didn't want to break Frost's fragile confidence. The student section booed the fact that Frankie didn't get another chance. They weren't booing Frost. But the media latched onto the simplest explanation, and that became historical fact, no matter how wrong it was.

Yeah, it'd be a real ***** to have a QB come in and play well.

I’d venture to say yes that is why, the more fans calmer for a change the more stubborn frost gets.

It’s time to let it go. Let the process take place. Change is in the air.

But he did pull AM last year, so? It makes it even more mystifying why he won't this year. I think he might just be f----ing with us at this point.

That doesn't seem a hill worth dying on. Looks like that's what he's gonna do though.

Against a TERRIBLE Penn State team….
I do believe the first time Martinez was benched was the previous game against Northwestern, as Martinez turned the ball over a couple of times, so McCaffrey was given the end of that game and the start against Penn State, and Illinois (where Luke would immediately **** his pants on the first play by trying to fling a lateral across the field for seemingly no good reason, many have tried to argue it should have been ruled a forward pass but that is still a mind-numbingly stupid thing to attempt).
