The football board has an extensive thread on the win tonight. Not sure what words I would use to describe it.

turned into what could have been nice to talk about into a petty argument.
But there were some props for RU WBB, so that was a nice change to see.
Despite the discussion turning away from the win, there were people praising how the RU WBB program is looking.
I'll look on that as a plus .

Kind of expected, no? Guys root for guys generally and, maybe, womens sports as something of an afterthought.
As an old guy, there were very few women playing team sports. Thus, I did not have the opportunity to consider them.
But, as someone who hopes to keep up with life and change, I now do appreciate that women work just as hard as men to play sports and try to give them as much credit as they are due.
