Football Districts vs. Conferences?

With realignment looming, maybe this is something worth considering in NC. Sounds like the same concept as "football only conferences":

The membership was presented a Football only alignment fir this current alignment. They were against it. “Too confusing, would hurt rivalries, longer travel.”

Dude I've got to say fir isn't for. I've tried not to say it but after months I've got to do it

Split conferences would help alleviate travel. Some counties could have an entire league of its owns schools.
