Not that it has any effect on this years outcome, but I thought it was interesting to see how some of the top programs have historically fared in the first round of the playoffs.

Joliet Catholic 43-2 in first round games
East St Louis 42-3
Mt Carmel 38-1
Providence 34-5
Maine South 29-10
Lincoln Way E 21-2
SHG 41-3
Morris 34-5
Loyola 30-4

In related meaningless stats, the schools in this years playoffs with the most total playoff appearances but have not reached a championship game are:
Simeon 41 playoff appearances without a title game appearances
Sterling 38 playoff appearances
Sandburg 34 playoff appearances
Fremd 31 playoff appearances
QND 30 playoff appearances
Morgan Park 29 playoff appearances.

Simeon did not make the playoffs field this year, but has made the playoffs 40 times without reaching the title game.

Do Naz in the Racki era. I bet its like 15-0, including Driscol probably 21-0. Add in 2nd round and I think he's 38-4.

OK. Ill bite. From some quick research, I found that Racki is 12-1 in semi-final games. 8-0 at Naz and 4-1 at Driscoll. Here is how that compares to a handful of other prominent coaches.

Sharp(JCA) 8-1..Jaws is 4-0 since Sharp left in 2017, Gordie was 5-2, Boyter was 1-0 and Stone was 3-1.Those I did know without looking it up :ROFLMAO:

Senffner (PC) 11-1
Leonard (SHG) 10-3
Leonard (Roch) 9-4
Sunkett (ESL) 7-3
Holecek (LA) 8-4
Zvonar (LWE) 6-4

All pretty impressive
