I did not realize how similar their final stats ended up. Why did it seem like Dylan had such a better year?

If you would have told me prior to the season that we would get 37 ppg from these two, I would have expected about 7 seed in the NCAA tournament. We sure did waste them.

I’m going to be a big fan of Ace’s for years to come. He had some tough nights, but was always looking for other ways to be involved in the game.

Only thing that sucks is that he never really had a night at the RAC where he was unstoppable. Would have been cool to watch that happen.

Agree. He didn’t have a great game today, but he was busting his *** on rebounds and blocks. He also wasn’t afraid to take a couple of big shots down the stretch- notably that improvised hook shot.

The answer to your question is: because he did.
If you pull out the 3-4 games that Dylan was clearly still sick and then shouldn’t have played with an ankle sprain….
His averages would create real separation from Ace.

Yea I feel like all of his best performances came on the road this year.

Because Dylan's bad games came earlier during his sickness and ankle troubles. Ace hit the wall and as a jump shooter it's hard to make shots if you're tired. Has to work on his conditioning, it was when he took on more responsibility in the paint that his offense began to suffer. Definitely would have helped to have a true big man to handle big man duties. That probably would have stopped him from cheating off his man to be a rim protector.

Ace became a better defender as the season went on. I noticed that about his game. He needs to eat weight for the next 4-5 years though.
I know it's not going to happen, however Ace would really benefit from another year in college, both for hoops and life
Wasn't he 17 to start the season?
I hope he has a strong "support staff" as well as honorable agent.
I wish him all the best

These days with the developmental coaches and facilities available to NBA rookies. It's better to develop as an elite prospect in the NBA. Also Ace's parents are both former pro players. He also has an aunt that was on the us Olympic team..

Dylan’s stats are hurt by his zombie flu/injury games. If you just compare healthy games Dylan would have a clear edge.

As high school senior Bailey had a incredible shooting performance at the RAC .Harper and Sommerville also played with their high school teams.
