Hidden Valley will keep at least a two game lead over Salem in the River Ridge District after tonight's game's are completed. Salem is playing Cave Spring. Hidden Valley is 13-3 (6-0) Blacksburg 10-7 (3-4).

Cave Spring beat Salem 5-3 tonight. Christiansburg beat Pulaski 11-3 in a non-district matchup. So Christiansburg 11-4 over all Salem and Cave Spring are all three games behind Hidden Valley.

Final William Byrd 9 Alleghany 3 one update

William Byrd now has a one game lead in the Blue Ridge District. Alleghany and Lord Botetourt are both one game back. William Byrd 12-4 (6-1) Alleghany 13-3 (5-2). Lord Botetourt 13-3 (5-2) beat Rockbridge Co. 7-7 (1-6) tonight 6-0.

Final Amherst Co. 4 Brookville 2

Amherst 15-0 (8-0) has a one game lead over Jefferson Forest 13-3 (8-1) who beat Liberty (Lyn) tonight 4-0 in the Seminole
District. Amherst will play at Jefferson Forest on Wednesday May 8th. Amherst won the first meeting 3-0.

Region I Battlefield District update

Last night Eastern View lost their first district game of the season to Caroline 13-7. Caroline scored 10 runs in the top the 5th. Eastern View and Culpeper are now tied for the lead in the BD. Culpeper beat James Monroe 17-0 last night. EV is 13-3 (7-1) Culpeper 10-1 (8-1). the two teams still have to play each other twice yet. May 14th at EV and May 16th at Culpeper. Caroline is two games back in the district.
