No worries and I agree just felt if they won out we might be stuck with them another year. Now we don’t have to worry about that.

Just too many injuries this year and we're implementing a new offense. Just wait until we get some recruits. Have to have at least 5 years. Minimum.

I haven't been around enough this year to see who the sarcastic ones are but my god I am hoping this is one of them.

Our football S/C program is a joke under that meathead. Injuries are like no other this year it seems like. Oz don't have a back up right now. If he goes down we then have QB that runs like an elephant and no RB. I don't remember the last time it was this bad injury wise. It's like reading off a novel when they read the injury list.

Riley and Langsdorf need to go tomorrow. No if's and's or but's about it. Get the next guy on the phone, see if Miles will take over as an interim HC. I would rather stab myself in the eyes with a toothpick than watch a Langsdorf called game.

The decision was made weeks ago. It didn’t matter if he won out or lost out after OSU. Today had no bearing.

If that is the case, upper management failed at not getting rid of him immediately. I hate the "you have to wait til the end of the season to fire him" mentality. It makes no sense.

It makes no sense to fire him now. What does it accomplish, other than make some fans feel good?

If there is “uncertainty” then things can be kept quiet. If you are like Florida, everyone knows you are looking, and good luck on keeping things quiet and preventing leaks. Riley doesn’t need to be officially fired for back channel talks to be going on.

It could help with recruiting. I assume some kids are holding off waiting for the other shoe to drop.

If he’s fired today with no replacement ready to be named (because they are going to finish their season first), you risk losing everyone.

The people with the $$$ dont support him. That’s all that matters. If Keyshawn Johnson and Gebia’s dad were donating millions, then maybe it’d make a difference, but to my knowledge they’re not.
Screw those guys.

I mean posters...the "4 years or bust" and the "Bo got 7 years..." dorks.

You're exactly right. Nothing comes from firing Riley now. Fans be damned. I am sure there are backdoor dealings happening. We as fans need to be patient. Recruiting, right now, is unfortunately a complete loss.

Our coach is a dead duck. He has to know it. I doubt he is actively, negatively affecting the program. This is the only reason I could see to can him now. I, personally, would like to see a bowl game. Getting rid of Riley now would likely ensure that does not happen.

Just curious how much knowledge do you have of who donates what?

Can I give you names and numbers? No. Probably could have a few years ago.

I wasnt calling ya out, just really wondering. I know some people who have donated quite a bit, but they're local nebraskans.

I didn’t figure you were. I used to have a relative in the athletic office. Not any more, but I have some ways of hearing some info.
