Some people look way too deep into movies and TV shows right now.

So they wanted to keep male avengers out of black widow. Ok, why is that a problem? If the story that's presented is entertaining, then be happy.
This entire MCU is so 17ing massive that ants and raccoons are major characters. Point being- there is no shortage for male opportunities within the MCU.

As for Tarantino's inerview, he doesn't say anything specific. That whole article doesn't say anything specific. Tarantino is tired of current ideology. Ok then, but there is no singular ideology so good luck with everyone agreeing which ideology is the one(s) that needs to end. He'll, good luck with everyone agreeing what are and aren't examples of ideology that needs to end.

I'll wait on the sidelines and just enjoy the movies. Ignorance is bliss in my case. It'd suck to be so aware of injustices like what is/isn't happening in movies.

Glad you feel that way. I may have been looking for it after watching Black Widow first but go back and watch the entire series. They are just getting started.

Look I'm not arguing against the whole of Marvel lol. I haven't watched Black Widow and have 0 desire to do so. I heard it was supposed to be "empowering" but one of my super left-leaning friends told me it was just done in the wrong way. (Par for the course for Disney/ESPN.) Said it's the standard objectification and gratuitous *** shots, but women are doing it to women so it's empowerment now lol.

My only point was that Loki largely ignored every bit of that and was refreshing in that regard compared to what Disney / Hollywood have been putting out. Someone made a good story and just ignored all the "male/female/non-binary" of each character. Treated them all as equals and really removed stereotypes. If Marvel could go THAT route, then they'd be so much better off.

Loki has been the best since Endgame. I'm just repeating what KF and all of the writers and everyone else with Marvel and Disney has been saying since that movie. I don't care what a character is as long as it's a good 17ing story. Loki has been that but the virtue signaling and social stuff is not subtle and is going to get worse. AGAIN... As long as the stories are great I really don't care but I doubt that is going to happen when they are concentrating on representation and diversity more than the source material or storylines its just a matter of time before it goes off the rails.

Hey... I enjoyed the ride. No skin off my nose but I hate to see it all go the way of the Star Wars sequels that were so bad they have officially been dropped as canon and they are bringing Lucas back in to help.

Just finished, gotta be honest, I’m a little let down we didn’t get to see the actual villain, I was hoping for that.

I’m guessing Dr. Strange multiverse of madness is going to get balls deep in this.
