Anyone know anything about FDU? I know they're picked near the top of the NEC this year. I'm thinking this will be a grind it out type of game the first game just on paper. We are breaking in a lot of new guys and it's the first game so I could see an ugly type of grind game. Hoping we can just make it out of this one with a W and move on from there.

KenPom has two NEC teams ahead, and has them more than 100 spots behind what we'd like to think is a low ranking for us at like 263. Norlander from CBS has them ranked 208, and well behind St. Francis in the NEC.

We dont need to blow them out, but this should not be a "grind it out" win. Stuff happens though. We'll see.

They seem to have a few good players in Mike Holloway and Darnell Edge, but we should definitely beat this team. We beat them by 38 last year, 92-54.

I know just about what you do. I imagine somebody is going to put a game prediction thread up but I’ll go early and pick Rutgers 68 FDU 57.Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a game where our lead swings from low 20s to single digits. Final score depends on how we in the game.

FDU will have alot of trouble dealing with our size...even our guards are big. I would expect a slow start out of the gates with the lights on for the first time but our physicality should wear them down.
