The fix was on, no doubt. Even the announcers kept saying it.
Win or lose doesn’t change the fact that this bullsh*t always happens to Rutgers.

This was some extra creative BS in this case. It’s almost like they couldn’t believe Mark picked their pocket twice.
Bald guy is worse. That guy screws us every time he’s assigned to us. Missed two obvious travels and a deflection out of bounds off Oregon on my end. Bald guy completely sucks - he’s the new Higgins.
It’s amazing the horrendous calls that go against Rutgers. OSU crap a couple of years ago cost us a bid.
Lucky poor officiating didn’t cost us the game. This wasn’t a bad judgment call. Ref anticipated a call that just didn’t happen.
And no they don’t even out. Such fine lines when teams are so closely matched.

This is RU's 12th season in the B1G and the conference newbies are given a gift call on RU's home court to keep their hopes alive. There were a few 50/50 calls that went Rutgers way, but this was a total blown call that kept Oregon's hopes alive at a critical juncture in the game.
DJ Carstenson. As I call him, tall bald fish-head alien guy. He absolutely hates us and has killed us ever since we joined the Big Ten. Beyond fixed. If I was HC I don’t care I would be sending letters every year tk the B1G office that he cannot come to the RAC. At this point I would be throwing a chair and getting fined in the press conference. Anything to make it stop.
Lurch & every fan base hates him cause he sucks as a ref!

I thought they originally called a lane violation of Lino because he was the first to get there, but even that wasn't the case. Just total incompetence by the ref that should have never happened. Thank god it didn't cost us the game.

Almost never a conspiracy refs are fixed guy. But this one is unexplainable. Absolutely fixed insanity to call that on Rutgers. It was actually on the other team 100 out of 100 if you call anything. Hard to watch any sports anymore with so much of this going on.
That was a terrible call, no doubt, but we went to the line 34 times (and miraculously hit 30!) while they only went 12 times. We earned many of those, of course (especially Francis), but I that kind of disparity never seems fair to me, so let's not go overboard on the refs. Great win, though - happy for the team, the coaches and us fans.

Being fair the call that fouled Simpkins out of the game was awful as well.

When half of your shots are from beyond the 3 point line you will not be getting many foul shots. When you drive the lane repeatedly you end up at the foul line.
My friends and I have called him Midnight Oil for years because of his resemblance to lead singer Peter Garrett.
The refs this year across college basketball has been on the poor side. I saw three games where the refs made beyond

the woman made the call. when Pike went to other guy to complain he told Pike she made the call , and that's when he ran over to her .
Not really nonsense. Relative comments about another ref working the same game who also made terrible calls last night and has historically made bad calls against RU as others have referenced.
By the way, sure, the fix was in. They just failed to fix it. They must have forgotten the spread. And they forgot to continue to fix it in OT. Oops.
You're not wrong, but you can't excuse that call. Beyond ridiculous.

I didn't excuse the Lino call, which was indefensible, especially after seeing the replay when I got home. When you say TV, do you mean the RAC jumbotron or the actual coverage? We do get on a lot, because we get up and cheer a lot more than most in 102. Maybe I should break out my Melody dance moves and get a spotlight, lol.
The lady ref took some serous heat from the crowd. Booed heavily and a nice "ref you suck" chant. She deserved every second of it.
All three Refs had a clear view of the walk....and no one tried to make the call!
If he could sing like Peter Garret I would have less of a problem with him LOL
And then at the end of the walk they whistled EO for a foul. You shouldn’t be able to draw a foul by traveling.
