I don't know what to make of the paragraph saying that people wanting a la carte pay-per-channel options will need a new device. I have XM and will be pissed if I have to buy a new device for MLB - the sole reason I got a satellite radio. Anybody have any insight here?

Three most likely tiers

Low tier = low price, less channels of course, and void of just a few must-have channels
Upper tier = one big price for everything
Ala carte = pay-per-channel @ 2x $/channel than "low tier" with the most popular channels not being available for ala-carte
