The best trio ever were Sellers,Dabney, Jordan. Little doubt. My favorite was Greacen,Stewart and Brittelle. They beat a great Princeton team 61-60 in one of the most exciting games ever at the Barn.A late injury to Stewart prevented a long NIT run, in what was the most important Tourney. And man could they shoot it.Great memories.Any other favorite trios?

No real rutgers fan doesn’t know this.
3 or 4 years ago my buddy and I were joined at the RU golf course by a recent Rutgers grad who was a good golfer and a sports fan. Not only didn’t he know what the ABC line was but he wasn't even aware of the Final Four team! What are they teaching them these days? You would think the undefeated season would be a centerpiece of orientation.

The best starting five were Sellers,Dabney,Jordan, Copeland and Bailey.Scorers at every position who achieved greatness by having a undefeated season and a final four appearance.

Duncan
Hughes
Dabbs

Lets give these three some love.
The trio that gave RU it's best season since the 70's and almost got us to the second round. But Dabbs is on my list forever (see below)
Fun facts about the last NCAA game we played in:
1. Hughes and Duncan each had 20 points. Hughes had a double double but shot only 39 percent from the floor, while Duncan had 5 turnovers.
2. We were FIFTEEN OF SIXTEEEN from the charity stripe. Only miss came from Chuck Weiler (a skinny yet okay center during the Wenzel years. He struggled with asthma.).
3. We only shot 38 percent from the floor and A. State 54 percent. Only way we stayed in the game was outrebounding 37-29 (and 18 to 8 on the offensive glass).
4. A State's huge center Ike Austin had a huge game with 25 points and 8 rebounds (albeit with five turnovers), 8.7 points over his season average. Before the game, Brent Dabbs publicly trash talked how he was going to outplay Austin. Obviously this did not come to pass, and Dabbs put up a pedestrian 12 points and 5 boards. Way to motivate the opposition Brent!
