Heinrich, Thomkins, and Domann not on opening day roster.

The reported roster was 109 which leaves one spot open for one of the above or Green.

Not sure how it works - once named to the 110 man roster can someone be taken off short of an injury?

i figured you needed an injury. otherwise, you could taxi squad a bunch of guys. i figure they can give one of the walk-ons an "injury" any time they want to get a schollie guy in there.

why'd you delete your post about walk-ons injuring scholarship players?

I've just mainlined all of the info I can from the LJS and OWH sites. Here is what I think:

1.) The D line is going to be monstrous this year. FINALLY.
2.) Im thinking that both Tannor and Domann have good years. One of the two is going to become great by the end of the season. If we're lucky, both of them.
3.) Wandale Robinson is going to be amazing to watch.
4.) Mo Washington still looks really skinny, and seems like kind of a weird dude. No denying that physical skill, though. Seeing him and Mills in action is going to be a blast.
5.) Sports Illustrated put it really well, I think: "The Cornhuskers are still a cut below Michigan and Ohio State, but they should hit 9 wins and be in the hunt for the division title well into November."

I think that's right, and I think, barring injuries and bad luck, our floor is 8 wins and our ceiling is pretty up there.

Watch for us to get a TON of national attention if we beat Ohio State and remain undefeated going into October. There's going to be a lot of "Scott Frost does it again"-type headlines all over ESPN.

I can't help but root for Mo Wash to be a bad *** this year. I loved his runs when he hit space. He has that elite speed, not track speed, but him in pads just being faster than the dudes chasing him. I really hope he puts the legal stuff behind him and just is a stud for our backfield.
