Fake Insiders

Times like these are when we find out who the true insiders are and who just wants attention. Certain people alluded to Cade giving a commitment to UK in the past 2 days and Cade himself said he’s still open to all schools on his list.
He wouldn’t say that if he had committed to Kentucky , even if it was a silent commit.

I do believe the insiders who posted that they believe UK gets him, but certain people claimed that ‘we got him’ or that ‘Cade will commit soon and he’s coming to UK’... thankfully we can weed out the fakes through recruitments like these

There are countless examples of players that have been committed to a school and denied it all along as they go through the recruiting process. Off the top of my head Julius Randle said he was completely open, and then on the day he committed admitted that he had given a verbal commit to UK months in advance. Terrence Jones did the same thing. I remember MKG pretending to be open to Villanova right up until he committed.

There are countless Duke commits that have done the same thing. Bagley, RJ Barret, Cameron Reddish, Tre Jones, Jayson Tatum, Harry Giles, so on and so forth.

If you think a recruit wouldn't deny a "silent verbal" then this must be the first recruitment you have ever followed.

So you are summarizing that the one you are believing is the 18 year old recruit as the one telling the truth?
Hmmm. Ok. Thanks for playing.

I think he's saying that people get on here after news is spreading and claim it's a done deal and say it's going to be announced a certain date. I agree with him. Not everyone has to believe the same thing around here.

Essentially what I’m getting at. Certain people want to be the recruiting guru so bad that they gamble in hopes that they’re right. There’s a reason these ‘insiders’ are breaking the news AFTER there’s tons of smoke... but of course they’ll be vague enough to have wiggle room to save face.

I know exactly what he is saying, but he makes himself look stupid by claiming a recruit wouldn’t say what he said if he had committed.
Really, really stupid take.

I can say for a fact there’s a lot of fake inside scoop being tossed around here right now. He has not committed yet

Sources? I don’t need no damn sources! I know for a fact there’s gonna be name calling, accusations of trolling, lying, gender pondering, and probably a ban or two in this thread. My guy is incognito.

Definitely not the first recruitment I’ve followed, but I have a hard time believe that the known insiders and national guys don’t have the scoop, yet some people hidden behind a keyboard seem to know exactly what Cade is going to do.

by the way, I do think Cade commits to us, but I think that Cade to UK smoke has resulted in fake insiders taking a gamble

that part I don’t disagree with, but has anyone even come close to remotely confirming the “hes about to announce today or tomorrow” part? This doesn’t seem like the Askew fakeout; no credible person has confirmed that that one had any legs at all.

Sure, maybe some recruits play the schools and their fanbases but I’m going to believe what the player says over these ‘insiders’ .. also why would Cade let info out that he’s committed to Kentucky then turn around and say he’s wide open? I mean it’s possible, but unlikely.

Some recruits may lie about it, but I don’t think Cade would in this situation (I hope I’m wrong by the way)... but I don’t think Cade would continue meeting with other coaches and drag along his brothers staff if he was committed. Just my take.

That's what I've been facing, i don't understand it. I'm not a coach, a former player, a scout, none of that, but I am a UK fan who lives and dies with each game. Unless we kiss tail and say that we are unworthy to Cal and the staff, and that we have been incredibly successful the past ten years, then we are called trolls, "the worst". I wish the mods would make it an automatic ban for anyone who calls someone a derogatory name

After the McDaniels and Blackshear Fiasco's, I don't put anything past these kids.

I think we agree on your overall point, I just disagree that Cade claiming he is not committed means anything.

I don't know why these recruits like to drag out the process, but many have. I pointed out several of our commits that were unofficially committed long before they announced it publicly. Travis Graf has said that he heard Devin Askew was locked up back in August. Yet he kept taking visits, he even took his visit to Memphis and told everyone that he was going to Kentucky.

Don’t forget the Isaiah Stewart business, where he schedules a visit and there is a huge swing in his crystal ball and a bunch of people acting like he was a done deal to UK and literally within a span of days we went from done deal to not even in contention.

And we were the Crystal Ball leader for Bagley, a lock for Zion because he wanted to play with his buddy IQ, and Bamba because he wanted play with Quade Green.

I think UK’s fan base gets played more than any other fan base because it generates traffic - and I’m profoundly tired of it.

Duke and UNC fans don’t have to deal with this ****. Kids whose “dream school” is Duke or UNC almost inevitably end up going there if offered, and kids who are reputed to be huge leans to those schools really are huge leans.

I agree with that. Maybe Cade knows where he’s going, but I don’t think these insiders do.

This whole thread is pretty funny actually. Anyone that thinks they are an insider or thinks someone else is an insider is really foolish. A very few have an inkling, Dave and a couple like him. Hells bells, these are teenagers. Nothing more than kids. Many times THEY don’t know what they are gonna do. The CLOD will try to tell you differently but these are children trying to make life mapping decisions.

Even Dave falls in that category.
