Is anyone going and will they be streaming on ESPN?
Edit* I want to edit the title but don't see how. Does anyone know if the first two games the 10th and 11th will be on any station?

Need some help -- sorry it is technical in nature.

Does anyone fully understand the content permission model for WatchESPN? For example, if someone wants to watch the "replay" of CTC from ACC Network Extra, what exactly does WatchESPN require?
1) IP address in certain geo location?
2) Subscription (proven by credentials) with a content provider (eg. SlingTV, Verion FIOS TV package)?
3) Consistency between the two above? (For example, would subscription with a content provider outside of North Carolina, combined with a North Carolina IP -- thru a proxy or VPN of course, be allowed?)

The same questions for the "live" content on WatchESPN.

1. Don't believe there is an IP geo requirement, I live in Cincinnati (don't have access to ACC network) but I get all ACC network events through WatchESPN.
2. Yes you must have some sort of subscribtion. I'm a cord-cutter and use Sling TV, never had an issue.
3. Again, I don't believe geo location will prevent you from accessing ACC networks through WatchESPN. It will prevent you from accessing ACC network events through the ACC network, obviously.

For me, I was able to watch CTC live and the replay the day after.

Thanks JWill. That is very helpful. It completely answers questions 1) and 2) now. (I vaguely remember that "replay" required no subscription last year -- maybe I was wrong, or maybe ESPN changed that.)

I guess the answer to 3) is also "No". If that is the case, anyone who is ever blocked due to a geo requirement can always get around it with a VPN or proxy. Pretty easy to do. I can walk anyone thru the steps if (s)he needs the assistance.

Thanks for all the info. I'm going to try it for the exhibitions!
