Team is evolving and for the good. Johnson and Carter are gong to be a force next year inside, and three years from now Johnson could be a dominant Big 10 inside man. Thiam and Kiss were starters a few weeks ago and now they look like also rans. Thiam probably shouldn't even play at all. Caleb didn't even look like he belonged early in the season. Now he looks better at the point than Geo, and has a more diverse offensive game, and MulCahy is better than both of them as a PG. Harper and Mathis are looking a little more comfortable shooting the ball. The biggest question is Geo. After this year I think he'll see very little point. I don't think he's even that great a passer - not as good as Caleb IMO, and Mulcahy is one of the best passers I've ever seen on the high school level. Playing at the two Geo immediately becomes a legit offensive player. When your experienced players start losing their jobs to newcomers you're going in the right direction for sure. I think we are going to be a very good team sooner than later.

I think that Omoruyi's absence is giving the young guys more of an opportunity to develop. It may end up being a blessing in disguise, provided that he comes back at full strength.

This will also lead to EO not having to force and create so much offense. He will thrive with players around him excelling where the offense doesn't need to run through him
