Absolutely ridiculous. When ideology is held in higher regard than rationality, this is the result.

I don't know if that is criminal or not. If it is criminal I hope it is some sort of federal crime because I am not sure state laws would/could do that justice.

My father fought in World War II for 3 years, was highly decorated, and wounded twice. He would sometimes stop what he was doing , look at me and say " Just remember abuse of power is the worst crime, worse than anything." I can still see the expression on his face, it haunts me.
