One of the worst announcers I've ever heard. His commentary is poor, diction is horrible, and what a disgraceful homer.

Was thinking this too while watching the replay this morning. His commentary was poor - he said RU has a top 5 recruiting class this year. By what metric? His voice isn't good either. He sounded like he was talking with a mouth full of water.
I thought this was about Ernest Turner... the top recruit(from Camden but some Delaware connection) that Kevin Bannon absolutely needed to get us to the next level. He went to UNLV and did not much.
Believe it was top 5 big ten freshman class, which with the new transfers means much less.
Several sites give freshmen recruits points based on the number of stars they have. The points are added up and since we brought in more freshmen than probably any other B1G team, it projects well using those terms. It’s incredibly misleading since bringing in many 3 star freshmen gives a skewed view of recruiting success…especially with the new normal. In this case, a team could hypothetically bring in 10 two-star freshmen and have one of the top freshmen classes in the country. Our class is rated highly by some weaker services due to the sheer number of freshmen we have.
