That would be a nice destination for the players. We'd slaughter Ohio, but 60 and sunny on south beach sounds like fun.

According to the espn predictions there are only a few g5 vs p5 match ups. there should be more, to give the g5 an opportunity to prove and improve

ESPN says UH v. San Diego State in Vegas; 5-7 Miami vs. Miss St. in Birmingham; Baylor v. Navy in Armed Forces
Bahamas is gone
absent a deal with MWC for Cactus or some Sun Belt deal for New Orleans, it seems like Miami and Boca v. MAC are the only options

If we go from the Independence bowl against an ACC team at 6-6 to a pre-Christmas bowl against a MAC team at 9-3, what does winning games matter?

Why would AAC give up a contracted bowl in Birmingham against SEC? I do not believe that.

If it is anything other than Miami, I will be shocked. We will know in a few hours, I guess.

On ESPN's bowl schedule page, they have Army in the Armed Forces. As if they've already accepted. This isn't the predictions page.

Weird. This can only mean they worked a better deal for Navy somewhere else.

and it may mean TU is heading to Ft. Worth; perhaps Navy moved to the Washington DC military bowl?

The Military Bowl would essentially be a home game for Navy then as it is played in Navy/Marine Corps Stadium.
