I saw ex-NBA defensive guru Eric Snow on the
final 4 preview show. Hearing him talk you can tell he knows basketball
and is currently an assistant at Florida Atlantic. I think he played for Jordan
with the Sixers for 1 year in 2008 or 2009.

He would
be an excellent candidate for a B1G assistant coaching job at Rutgers if a spot
opens up within the next year or so. Originally from Ohio.

The last thing we need is another guy with more experience in the nba than recruiting.

Gotta agree that he would be a strong candidate. Good pedigree. Knows the B1G. Played under Heathcote at Michigan State when Izzo was his top assistant. High-quality person... won the NBA Sportsmanship Award and was a recipient of the J. Walter Kennedy Citizenship Award. Would fit nicely on EJ's staff.

Snow was SMU's Director of Player Development under Larry Brown for two seasons.

So is there any chance Eric Snow might be willing to change his name to Eric Hurley to land the job...?

The only requirement I have for assistant coaches is that they must be able to recruit players that can consistently put the ball in the basket.I'm tired of watching complementary type players who have no business getting scholarships to a power school where the skill set must be at a higher level.
