Supposedly Rivers was not a high NIL offer guy. Might have still had a commitable scholarship offer to NU. Nobody will ever know. There are others out there who I think they would rather have. In my mind, NU already has their #1 WR in Barney and there are several interesting prospects already on the roster. Cortez Mills, Isaiah Mozee, Jalen Lloyd, Demitrius Bell, Bonner... my guess is that they are fine with just getting one stud transfer or hopefully two.

Wasn't overly impressed with him. He can put up yards against subpar competition. Same thing that Neyor was able to do. I think there will be better players at that position yet to enter the portal.

I heard somewhere that Hunter is a Husker lean. Key is a long shot, but we're still getting a visit so we either have a chance or Key's agent is using the Husker visit try to get more money out of Georgia and Ole Miss.

Thanks, I was not aware of that! Great get. Pretty sure the Huskers picked Hunter over Rivers. Anyone stressed about losing portal kids to lesser teams probably should realize that quite likely those guys were not our top prospects.
