Never realized Remley was drafted. Shame on me. To be fair, I was 13 (but 4 years away from my first year as a season ticket holder).

Same here, didn’t realize he was drafted. Also his senior year he averaged 10 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and a whopping 93% on FTs (57 for 61, pretty good for a 6’9 guy).

I think he scored 50 in a game against maybe Penn State.
I'm not sure if I'm imagining this, but I believe I was a that game (or another game when he scored a lot). I went to a lot of women's games when I was younger and they often had doubleheaders going, so I got to see him play a bunch. He was awesome.

First time ever hearing of Remley.

Remley was also last pick of the NBA draft. Remley may have been on paper best player in that recruiting class. Except John Battle was in that class.

Remley says he only has two basketball regrets. A teammate’s elbow knocked him out of his final high school game twenty-four points shy of a thousand for his career.

l
ol, I was at that game they were playing Middletown North in the sectionals. They tried to claim a North player did it. Once he was out North rolled.

Remley hit some big shots from the baseline in one of our first big wins after UCLA against ND in the Meadowlands.
I remember he also helped in a romp over SHU at the same.

Yeah.. there isn't even a 7th round anymore.. is there? It is TWO ROUNDS now and has been awhile. Still.. if I was drafted in the 7th round of an NBA draft.. even the last pick.. I'd still count it.
