Effect on the polls?

I'm thinking this win is going to have a much more negative effect on Maryland than a positive one for RU. They lost, at home, to an unranked team that wasn't even getting "others" votes. They may just look at RU as a one-time thing.
If I'm right, Maryland tumbles hard with this with the thinking being they really hadn't played a tough schedule and got exposed.
But, I do think we will make at least one of the polls into the "others" list as a reward with a let's see what they do next before anyone really takes a plunge on us.

You're likely right, but RU just has to focus on getting better, working in this larger rotation, not wetting the bed in 3rd quarters, and playing hard and smart in every game moving forward. Less concerned about polls now than on RU showing they are a real threat in the B10 each and every game.
