Both teams coming off big losses. Two historically strong programs are meeting in Boonville on Friday. Any thoughts?

Should be a good game and the loser will be in an 0-2 hole. Still surprised by the Surry Central and East Surry score from last Friday. The Starmount game should let us know if this may be a rare down year for East Surry or they just had some first game jitters. Or maybe Surry Central will actually put together a solid season 
Been a long time since that has happened in Dobson. Either way, this should be a hard fought game as both schools have a lot of tradition and don't want to be 2 games underwater.

It seems that S.Central along with Mt.Airy are the pride of Surry County this football season. S.Central beating E.Surry shouldnt be a shock, when you have over 20 experienced seniors that played for a team that skunked Mt.Airy last season. East Surry maybe down this year, but if you'd told me that they would get beat by 3 tds to S.Central, I would have definitely laughed myself to sleep. I do believe S.Central is pretty good this year.
