Rappahannock defeated Chincoteague 6-3 over on the beautiful Eastern Shore. Congrats to the Raiders on making states. Good luck v Windsor.

Rapp was down 5-2 to fellow NND team Northumberland before making a comeback in the Region Qs to win 6-5.

This point system blows. We need to go back to where the one seeds play the two seeds and the same conference (districts) teams are on the opposite sides of the bracket. Rotate the conferences you face each year to be fair. This may be where we are heading with more changes coming to playoffs...

Yeah, the east and west does things entirely differently. In the Western regionals, a conference winner plays an adjacent conference runner up in the regional quarters.

Not sure how your seeding points are calculated over there, is it something like the football power points?
