To paraphrase Simms, "I'm not trying to take anything away from Hurts, but....". The "but" shows he's doing just that. Simms should also try to explain why the Eagles fell flat with Minshew under center. He's a former NFL starter who should have been able to step into the Eagles' "system" and have immediate success. I hope (but doubt) the Chiefs are taking Hurts as lightly as everyone else.

And, my Redskins won three Lombardi Trophies with three different starting quarterbacks. The opposing quarterbacks in two of these games ended up in the Hall of Fame. (None of Washington’s three SB-winning qbs are in the HOF.) Is Hurts as good as Mahomes? No, but nobody else is, either, and Hurts is good enough for the Eagles to win tonight.

Well, according to some posters on here the NFL orchestrates every game to get who they want to win, so I guess we just need to find out which team the NFL wants to win. I’m sure it’s whichever team these posters don’t want to win.
