Potomac Falls 5-4 over Dominion in 8 innings.

Loudoun Valley 8-4 over Briar Woods.

Heritage 10-0 over Loudoun County.

Since Potomac Falls won, all other automatically qualify for Region II tourney.

Interesting that all the top seeds won. I really thought Briar Woods, which has been hot, would knock Loudoun Valley off and I also thought there was potential for Tuscarora to beat Woodgrove (that one took 10 innings to decide, after all).

Sounds like only Heritage's win was an easy one.

I'll go with the Pride taking on Pot Falls in the final.

The 5 errors that BW's had didn't help, I think it lead to at least 3 unearned runs. Loudoun Valley came up with a 3-run triple and maybe another 2-run triple. BW's couldn't get a timely hit with runners in scoring position.

I think they ended up with 9 hits a piece.

LV's got a nice squad and it was refreshing watching a pretty competitive high school game. It was the best high school game I've seen all year.
