The season has not even started yet for the defending national runners-up and already this is reason to be smiling...We just flipped the top player from the class of 2020.
O'Neill plays in my section (NYS CHSAA) and has looked college ready since the time he was a freshman.
He is powerful, has an accurate shot, and most of all, has that attitude you want to see in a student-athlete. He can put a team on his back and lead them to victory single-handedly when necessary.
Including his 8th grade season at Bay Shore High School, during his three-year varsity career, O'Neill has tallied the following stats: 145 goals, 81 assists, 226 points
