Dual Attendance

Some good news. For the 2018-2019 season, we finished 4th in home attendance with an average of 5227 per dual. That's up from the previous year when we finished 7th with an average of 3152 per dual.

Kind of a bad schedule this year. Winter storm in the first semester and super bowl Sunday the second.

I didn't link this before, but it appears this year was more in line with 2016-2017. We finished 4th that year also, with an average of 5041 per dual.

Need to do something. Sell cheap kids tickets, do more to encourage student involvement, do more advertising, etc.

The only match that was really advertised last year was Iowa, and look what happened.

The attendance with Iowa was good because it was them and the history of both programs. As much it makes me vomit a little to say, we need OU to get much better quickly. We need the Missouri, Nebraska, Iowa to be in our rotations along with Ohio State, Penn State, and Minnesota.

Bring a couple of those programs in every year to promote.

Bring in the good match ups (teams) and have a bar (pay a bar) to get students there. It's actually easy!

All matches are $10 and season tickets are $75, it's already a bargain. Advertise more, yes.

Bring in good programs - yes. OU needs to be good - no.
