Here’s a list of the passing yards on every Mississippi State pass, broken into how many players rushed. Bolded plays are second half:
• Rush 3: 6, 7, 2*, 5, 7, 8, 4, 6, Inc., 2, 6, 4, 5, 7, 6, Inc. (Devonte Wyatt batted ball), 3, 17, 5, 5, 51 (TD), 8, 4, 4, 4, 4, Inc., 8, 3, 2, 7, 11, 3, 3.
• Rush 4: 20, 3, 8, Inc., 8, 14, 12, 16, 15, Inc., Inc., 7, Inc., 10, Sack, Inc., Sack.
• Rush 5: Inc, Inc., 6, Inc.**
* Forward hand-off
** Drop on what would’ve been TD

There wasn’t an immediate adjustment at halftime. In the first half, Georgia rushed three 21 of 28 dropbacks. On the first defensive drive of the second half, Georgia again rushed three most of the time. But when that again didn’t work you started to see more four-man rushes.
But the rush-three approach wasn’t what burned Georgia. It was the way its linebackers and defensive backs sat back, and just generally didn’t play good pass defense. That’s discouraging for the defense, and reiterates the concern that the unit was overrated, that the LSU game last year, and Alabama and Florida this year, were not just the result of facing great offenses.

Interesting. They really got after it when they rushed 4 in the 2nd half. And after the long TD, did a good job of keeping everything to short gains when they rushed 3.

Rush 3
30-33 91%
219 yards on 30 completions = 7.3 yards per reception

Take away 51 TD reception and avg per reception drops to 5.8

Rush 4
10-15 67%
113 yards on 10 completions = 11.3 yards per reception

Rush 5
1-4 25%
6 yards on 1 completion = 6.0 yards per reception

Where’s shotgundog who said people didn’t what they were talking about regarding the adjustments GA made in the second half.
