the dribble penetration killed us in the minny game. Guards need to do a better job of stopping that!

Once they get by our guards they have a numbers advantage m, hence all the assists, easy baskets and high shooting percentage.

Yeah, it hurt us yesterday big time. CJ was also quoted in post game saying the same thing

What made minny dangerous with the penetration was being athletic at the 4 and 5 with the screens. I'd have to rewatch, but I think the bigs did a poor job hedging.

We couldn't guard one on one and when help shifted over inside, they made the pass for easy baskets. Maybe should have zoned a little, but they were quicker and could adjust their shots near the basket. Plus when we seem to be in position, we still foul. But we get our shots blocked so easily.

Minnesota is a well coached team that runs a very effective offense with multiple players fully capable of dribble drive penetration.Coaching is far easier when there are talented players capable of executing what they are taught.
