I think everyone who reads the article about the death of Capt. Khan is touched by his story. The Democrats used this family as dupes to push an agenda that will be the destruction of America. First of all we are at war with radical Islam, they are our enemies. They are the ones that are bring the war to us, not the other way around. Second, it is estimated that 70% of all Muslims already in this country want Sharia Law, For Mr. Khan to stand up there with a copy of the Constitution in his hand and berate an American business man that has paid millions of dollars to support these Muslims welfare and food stamp programs to feed their family's is outrageous . Mr Khan can get up on stage, and hold up the Constitution, is hypocrisy at it's best. He is a Muslim, they would rather have Sharia Law and doing what he did, that's hypocrisy. The Constitution and Sharia is completely opposite in every way. Under Sharia women have no rights. Women can have no drivers license. Women may not leave the house without their husband. Women have to walk behind their husbands at all times. Women have to be covered at all times when out doors. If women are caught braking Sharia they can be beaten, lose their limbs or put to death for minor offenses. If a Muslim wants to put his wife away, all he has to do is lie about her conduct and she has no recourse. Muslims are great liars. Mr. Khan is a Dupe just like John McCain, Paul Ryan, and Lindsey Graham fell right into the Clinton trap. Mr. Khan my question to you is: If you are so upset about your son's death why don't you come out and condemn radical Islamic terrorism. Why don't you be honest and tell the American people your book is the Koran, that's full of the hatred that has just killed your son. Why don't you? Trump didn't kill your son radical Islamist did.

Mr. Khan has deep ties to the Saudis. Sorry, but I'm not in the mood to listen to anyone that has deep ties to the Saudis. The left tried this with Cindy Sheehan, then abandoned her once she outlived her usefulness.

Why doesn't Mr.Khan condemn radical Islamic terrorism? It killed his son

Probably the same reason nobody came out in the early days of slavery or after Reconstruction and the birth of the KKK and condemned "Radical Christianity"......

This may be THE single dumbest post title ever on this Board. This IS, after all, POLITICS we're talking about here; a sport which needs lies, ignorance, and (yes) HYPOCRISY as much as base/foot/basket needs a ball.

No, he was killed in a war that we started. You ignorant f***ers completely miss the point that Mr. Khan was making: If Trump had his way there would have been no Captain Khan to go to Iraq to be killed, because his Muslim family would not have been allowed into the country.

Or, If Trump had his way, Captain Kahn would have completed his service, stateside or at an otherwise less dangerous assignment. Everybody on board the time machine, it's leaving yesterday!

Don't you think sending his son to go and try to kill them is condemning it?

Or am I just crazy?
Please source "sending his son". I thought he was part of the all volunteer army. Military orders sent him into war zone. Am I wrong?

Oh Jesus - Do you really want to split that hair? Is it not enough that he died fighting for a country that he and his family wouldn't have been allowed into if Trump had his way?

Interesting deflection of the point ... well done
How so? Maybe you lost your way. Isn't this thread about the Khans? The father didn't send his son anywhere. My point is the son is the hero. The son made the ultimate sacrifice, while the father may very well be a willing political tool. Deflection? Explain.

OK, we say all the time that "we send our kids off to war", even though the parents aren't literally the ones doing it. Really can't believe I have to explain this.

The son went to fight against radical Islam, the father says he is a hero for giving his life to do that and rightly so ... and yet, some of you aren't satisfied unless he literally says the words "I condemn radical Islamists".

You follow that up with a statement about postage ... if that isn't deflection, I don't know what is.

I think you understand perfectly what I'm saying and the point I am trying to make, but are finding any rationalization you can to not acknowledge it.

semantics

Well, you asked me to explain what I meant by "he sent his son", and I did ... so, from the word go you've really had nothing but semantics to argue. You really shouldn't have even started.

The point was, and still is, that he is proud of his son for fighting against radical Islamists and considers him a hero for giving his life for our country against same. Being proud of a son that fought against it and gave his life fighting it is condemning it. Yet, you right-wing lunatics don't think he condemns radical Islam unless he literally says it the exact way you think he should.

If you're being honest with yourselves though, which lunatics from either wing rarely are, he could do EXACTLY what you want him to do and say and you would STILL find some kind of problem with it. And if somebody had done EXACTLY the same thing during the RNC, you'd be praising it up and down.

No, I asked you to explain how I deflected the thread. You have been Miss Teen Semantics since that point forward.

You deflected it with semantics with your "didn't use the right stamp" statement. Which is something that I already explained.

So, with that, I'm done and wish you a good day.

Damn, you really do fly blindly when Hillary is involved. Can you explain why Trump is opposed to the particular group of people? Maybe it is splitting hairs, but you are talking about 12-14 years back when the Capt joined. That is in GWB first term. I wanted the border to be restrained at that time, but things have happened in the interim that it would be prudent to restrict this particular group currently. Without validation of who they are, I would refuse entry today. We were not there when the Capt enlisted.

Where do you stand on the open borders? Receive anyone who wants to enter? As to the parents currently, he was pretty direct at Trump. Hillary group had proofed his speech. I think the world knew that his talk was going to receive a rebuttal. If you tell me you thought differently, I am going to suspect you of not being honest. Now, exactly what is it you are seeking a discussion on? Politics, politicians, free speech, or what? Or is it just your total opposition to my candidate?
