ISU got the home court boost. Iowa is 6 points better on a neutral court.
Honest assessment is ISU not worth the rank; Iowa should be ranked. I like Iowa’s stock ticker more going forward.
14-pt edge at the FT line and double-digit free points off some uncharacteristically bad Iowa turnovers.

I thought it was a physical game and did not reralize the ff disparancy until this morning. Yes we should have shot more than we did and made more than we attempted. It seems like both men and womens basketball on the collegiate level is much more physical than in recent years. Bigger-faster-stronger part of the reason? Anyway there is lot of contact not being called.
The time out without possession of the ball when it should have been a jump ball?
That was bad officiating, too.
But this was with under a minute left (I believe) and Iowa knocked the ball loose in the ISU paint and instead of gathering the loose ball and heading back down to their end only being down 2, the ball finds an ISU player who lays it in and Clones go up 4.
Aw yes, I remember. That would have been huge if we could have gotten that and went down an scored.
On the home team anyway. I watched every minute of this game and the way it was called made a difference.
I think the refs tried to get ISU with some fouls in the second half but very few were when we were shooting or when it mattered. ISU would foul us shooting and no call or we would get a BS foul when ISU was shooting.
Some on replay were just made up fouls tbh. I hate that it felt like the calls were part of the game. I get it that you have to play through that if you are going to play winning basketball but last night was criminally bad. Call a consistent game and let the players decide the game. If you are going to allow physical play fine but it was to be both ways.
