Does this help or hurt WVU

Not playing this week is going to be a big factor going into next week.

There are not many injuries so the week off doesn't help with that.
Also doesn't provide the chance for young players to gain experience.

It could help of course because that game against NC State was not a for sure win.
It also allows players to rest and not have to beat up their body.

Kansas St in ten days and they need a win.

Neither. It's no different than an open week, like October 20, which will neither hurt nor help WVU. Yes, it helps if you have injuries. Otherwise, it's neither bad nor good.

To say an off week is neither good nor bad is probably the dumbest thing posted to this website in a really long time.

2 weeks to prep for an opponent is neither good nor bad?
Getting healthy........... not really good, right?
another week of running schemes and watching video before you have to test it on the field? Why would that be good?

YOUR post is the dumbest thing posted on this website in a really long time.

Do you really hate me that much that if I say "up" you say "down" out of force of habit because it's my post?

Sinkfield was injured in the YSU game. This extra time will help. He is an outstanding back.

Charlie Benton was injured in the Tennessee game. Not sure of his scheduled return, but this extra time will help.

Edit: just saw where Benton is out for the season.
