Does Split Conferences still have 1 seeds?

I know new rule is seeding conference champions then maxpreps rankings, does being top 1a team in split conference still get 1 "seed like in years past? or do u have to be outright conference champs split conference champs or not?

Split conference:

1-The highest finishing seed from classification will receive 1 seed regardless of conference finish.
2- 2 teams finishing 1 & 2 in conference will automatically qualify

Yep in baseball playoffs your going to have a 5-19 team on the 1 line bc they where highest 1a in a split. SMH!!!!!!!!
