Of course. I always root for other conference teams. Except Northwestern, of course. Everything about Northwestern sucks.

I always root for the B1G in any tournament except for Ped State in everything and Michigan in football. The better the conference performs the better I believe we will be perceived.

Agree on PSU, but we don't have to worry about that one here. Michigan is actually my 2nd favorite team (they were my favorite, growing up, until I came to RU, although Harbaugh is an *** and I'm not as big of a fan as I used to be; love Beilein, though).

Of course we root for the B1G teams. We're all in this together. My concern is that the expanded 20 game schedule has taken a physical toll on teams. We shall see.

As much as I am used to rooting against those guys, I just can’t root for stupid Big East or ACC schools (or SEC for that matter, though moreso in football). So yes. Except PSU, hope they lose by 100 whether if they are playing Duke or Southeastern Louisiana

Yes except I would not have rooted for Penn State if they were in it. Can't root for an institution that allowed what went on for so long.

For me the PSU scandal is only one aspect to rooting against. Primarily the arrogance and the holier than thou attitude of their alumni.

The cult-like attitude of a large segment of the PSU fanbase, including the baffling reaction and defense of participants in the Sandusky scandal, certainly makes it easy to root against Penn State. That is a difference with MSU, where I am not aware of any fan, alumni, or structural defense of the Nassar scandal.

While the fan/alumni reaction to the scandals at PSU and MSU are very different, the scandals themselves are both similarly heinous. To blame PSU for its scandal without blaming MSU for its scandal seems inconsistent. I have no problem blaming PSU for their fan/alumni reaction.

of course

If not a B1G team to win it all then let it be Gonzaga

Do you also root against Michigan State for allowing Larry Nassar to sexually abuse victims for so long?
Becuase there actually are Michigan State fans who regret what went on. Penn State fans want to just pretend it never happened.

That's fair. As I noted above, both schools had horrific scandals. The difference is they way fans/alumni reacted to the scandals.

I just don't like Penn State. I have had to put up with their fans at work, in my family and at games. I think they are arrogant. Looking back I should not have said Per State.

I always pick Big Ten teams.
Always pick against Syracuse, Seton Hall and Villanova.

Seton Hall could be a #1 seed and I’ll pick the first round upset.

I usually also pick against the ACC but not this year as much.

Have FF as: Duke Michigan UNC Purdue with Duke over UNC.

Root for all the Big Ten teams except PSU, both out of conference and in tournaments/bowls. Generally root against the Big East at this point, too.

I always root against State Penn in everything, so far I only dislike Michigan football because of Harbaugh, and assuming what they say about Northwestern is true, I would root against them. I don't know if anyone is certain that they voted no against us.

66..You honestly feel like we're b1g "brothers" right now? You feel like you're that to the rest of the league? Few have our back. That being said ...

I definitely root for them, even PSU ( I like Chambers). But they're far from brothers at this point.

To me it's not necessarily "conference homerism" but selfishness. The better the conference does, the better the overall image of the conference's strength, which can only help us if we end up on the bubble in the next few years.

yes except for State Penn I root for all the B1G teams iin the tourney, although I'm still a little salty with Hawkeye fans who never gave us a modicum of respect despite us pummeling them at Carver and them beating us on the flukey-est shot of the year at home

I’ll root for any B1G team outside of PSU. Duke, Syracuse and SHU are on my ‘can’t root for them’ list as well.
