Nope. Way too many blown opportunities.
We were never winning it without Vanderbilt. Should have gone to the FF tho.
None of us are in the mindset to answer that question right now.
This year was not ours for the taking. The south region was, but not the whole tournament. Good teams left.
we are still sitting in the arena and A LOT OF KY FANS not happy right now. Hopefully they will cool off. But they are doing a lot of talking down here about OAD's and Cal
This title wasn’t for the taking, we had serious flaws and were never going to get through that many games without a dud. Having said that I’m thinking 2012 will be his only title.
Only if the NBA passes a rule that requires players to stay at least 2 years.
No matter how talented, he cannot win without SOME upperclassmen, and guys at UK all feel like they have to jump after one year or they are somehow a failure.

I honestly don't see it unless we can start keeping guys longer than a year.
That being said this team was never going to win the championship. First real team they played would have destroyed them. Only reason FF was an option was the path we had and we couldn't even take advantage of that.

Doubtful. It’s difficult to win one any time but when you consistently rely on freshman and you have a weak in game bench coach, that just doubles down on the difficulty of it

Said it several years ago, unless he changes his stubborn ways of coaching then no. When we need him to coach at least a subpar game for a win he gives us the crap he did tonight. He sets his gameplan and if it doesn’t work then oh well, he had the proper game plan it just wasn’t executed well enough.
Virginia isn’t Kentucky. Also, Virginia isn’t recruiting the way we are, either.
Thought he would for certain, now I have doubts. Until he learns to let his talent play offensively and let them get up and down, don't see it happening. Too many factors come into play when you want to "Grind" a game out and too many times his best players don't have ball late in big games. Inexcusable to ignore Knox late in game.

Sure he can win another title. And I think he'll coach here until he does. He's too competitive not to.

I'd lean to No...I think the turnstile of players leaving won't end and Cal coaches for names on back of jersey and not name on front.
If Cal would keep the roster together for more years, he can win more titles. But he has the look of a guy who is just fine with "making players financial dreams" and isn't bought in on UK dreams.
