Does anyone remember in the late 90s we had a recruit, his initials were OO? He was supposed to be an absolute stud from Africa. I dont know why but I was thinking about it the other day.

I couldnt find anything on google.
Best guess it was 98.

He got drafted in the 2nd round and played in the NBA for 3 seasons. I still remember reading the announcement on the Big Dog site.

The newspaper report I read was that he was considered the best high school sophomore or junior in the world and he was dead set on coming to RU.

I read it and thought to myself, this can’t be right, with RU luck, something had to go wrong

Sure enough, he had either visa problems and

Think that was Kevin Bannon's guy. RU was trying to get him here and I think wanted to "hide" him at a local public (JP Stevens in Edison??) but the Visa issues got him.
