Does anyone know WHY the switch to On3?

I'm puzzled.

And I hate to say this, because I respect all the guys who have worked so hard for years to make Inside Carolina what it became, BUT...
I'm beginning to hate this On3 mess. After logging in, I still get a big message telling me I have to log in. Of course, that's only the tip of the iceberg.

Did 247 push our guys out? Price them out of the market? Or did I IC guys accept a nice buyout, expecting that On3 would be a challenge but worth it?

Admittedly, I'm clueless.

If I have to repeatedly try to log in like you say you have, I have to disable my enhanced tracking protection then put it back on after I sign in. I had the same issue on 247.

247 has turned into a joke. Nothing but trolls and opposing fans pretending to be UNC fans and idiot UNC fans constantly complaining. I had enough of that crap. Not to mention the pop ups are out of control and that board has major functional issues. I'll take this board any day over that joke of a board. I still go there but its a just a terrible board now. And the moderation sucks there.

Not so. I just signed up yesterday. However, my email wouldn't go through from the provided link so I just sent an email directly to [email protected] and they responded quickly with an access code for me to use. From that point it was easy.

The last week or 2 they are doing nothing other than bills PCs and writing a few opinion articles.

Its bad. Anna Adam's is putting more behind the scenes stuff than the unc guys.

They still haven't mentioned the uniform combo yet.

The basketball coverage isnt bad and that seems their focus. I dont care about basketball threads.

I don't know the reasons, and this isn't Adam's fault, but there was a noticeable drop-off in the quality of writing and coverage going from GB to AS. Even if business was booming, if you had the chance to bring GB back into that chair you had to jump on it.

I'm sure it was an added bonus that he was already on the payroll, but even if he wasn't it's still an upgrade to IC's journalism efforts.

I’ll keep paying them for Paramount+. My wife will insist on subscribing to Paramount + anyway, so I might as well get 247 basically for free.

24/7 has offered a 75% discount at least once a year for as long as I can remember when IC was with them.

Man I agree with all but Jason. At least for podcast listeners the dude might be the least succinct individual I've ever heard. The "track his speaking time by sundial" joke has been around for YEARS and the dude still hasn't made an effort to rein things in. He for sure knows football. He's definitely going to tell us all about it.

Joey might be Jason's brother from a different mother. Some of his podcasts don't get rolling until close to the 5 minute mark.

My take is if you're on a podcast with Greg, Sherrell, or Rob (huge addition,) please cede the floor. Or at least don't dominate time of possession.

I don’t like the way it was handled. I had just nenewed when the changeover began, and was hush hush. I got left out in the cold and had to accept the fact that my subscription stayed with 247. I fumed for several months before coming on board with IC again., (July-January). I’m still somewhat bitter about it, and don’t know the reason for the change.
