Do we get Blessuan Austin back?

Just curious if anyone knows if Blessuan Austin is eligible for next year. Would he get a medial waiver for this past season ?

I don't even think he came to practices or games once he made his announcement he was done for the year. I think someone posted they would see him at the Yard watching the games with students. I could be remembering wrong.

No expert but my thoughts are.....

He's missed most of the past 2 seasons. Unless he's as close to 100% as possible on pro day I'd think it will do him little good. What if he fails the physical? He'd be a big question mark, perhaps too much so to be drafted?

On the other hand does he want to risk a 3rd knee injury or any other kind by playing another year in college? Has he burned that bridge? Does he even want to stay under any circumstance?

If he took care of business in the classroom he should grad transfer. If healthy he would have a ton of options for 1 year.

No such thing as a medical waiver any more. He didn't play last year so he's entitled to a fifth year of eligibility if he wants it, but there's no indication that he does.

He's gone. He has played 4 1/2 games in 2 years and has 2 ACLs as a CB. Curious to see if he gets drafted. Feel bad for him, he was a guy I thought Ash really helped to develop but I think Bless rushed his return from ACL.

If he was on scholarship to play football, this would sound like breach of contract? Unless ash told him to get lost.
