Do Democrats actually want a DACA solution?

Was just thinking about this. I’m curious if they want a solution for DACA and immigration or a campaign issue to challenge on? It’s going to be difficult for the GOP to keep the House. Are the Dems playing the long game here? Would they be willing to gamble with illegals and dreamers on the 18 election? Would the Dems be willing to give another major win to Trump and the Republicans? This tax cut thing is already going to be hard enough to overcome. Throw in DACA and immigration coupled with the economy and the Dems might not gain in the House.

African American support for Trump has doubled in the first year. It was minuscule, but 10% > 5%. I think libs might have other worries, also.

The gop may lose the house. They suck as much as the Dems do. I support the President, not the gop.

I think the Dems fail where they always fail, getting a coherent message out in a way that people can connect with in all areas of the nation. I think most Dems want dreamers protected at all costs, I think the immigration angle is seeming like a winning game plan to them.....and they are banking on the message that Trump hates immigrants. Which I don’t think is true. And if the Dems could simply come to play with a legitimate compromise, and if Trump and the GOP take it.....let it happen....and stick by your message, even if it plays out as a GOP win.

The “beat Trump” message doesn’t work, imo. Cause the GOP is too good at spinning the narrative. Sound bytes, propaganda, social media.....the GOP gots the **** down

It’s my biggest desire here, but I can’t stand merit based immigration reform. I don’t want it to be open borders, but I don’t really have a solution for the problems conservatives see on this issue. Whether we’re talking safety or economic reasons for a more limited system. I’m also hardcore in favor of accepting refugees, in high numbers from nations we are in which we are in active conflict.

I keep telling the deaf Leftists on this board that Trump's minority outreach to revitalize inner cities is going to be HUGE for future Black votes. There is a dynamic brewing right now that the media is ignoring but soon won't be able to act as if it's not happening. Black businesses opening in once crime infested areas. When it grows from seeds into whole communities and cities with Blacks running them and making money...the Left will be amputated from a large portion of those votes they used to take for granted. Those votes will go to Trump.
